About

In Frankfurt writing notes about the frankfurter I have just eaten.

I am an expatriated Calgarian living in Kingston for residency. I love everything about food, particularly its taste. My four year mission: to become a specialist while eating as much food as humanly possible. This contrasts to a story I heard about an anesthesia resident who lived for 5 years off of patient food and free lunches, never paying a dime. That is his legend. Not something that I would do.

I like all kinds of food but chicken wings and indian are some of my favs. I’ve also begun searching for the perfect espresso while trying to remain not addicted to coffee.

My personal food-eating peeves:

1) people who order their steaks medium-well to well-done

2) people who go out for dinner with friends and all order the same dish

3) people who waste meat

Listen to my story. This may be our last chance.

  1. I just relocated to Kingston from Toronto this Fall (for Law). I’m glad to find another foodie in my midst. So I’m not the only one who takes photos of every thing I eat.

    Cheers!

  2. Hey Jazz, we need more Kingston food photos! When will your blog be up? I am doing by best right now to avoid eating at the same place twice… and so far I’ve been fairly successful.

  3. I’ve been slow on blogging…but have been uploading all my photos to Facebook. “Jazz~y Food Porn” I believe I made the albums public, not my profile. Have you tried White Mountain ice cream, Pilot House fish and chips, and Chez Piggy? I have to say I’ve had ALOT of misses too…

  4. Next week I’ll be hitting up the charcuterie @ Luke’s …

  5. I love your blog – informative and entertaining. Keep up the great work!
